The Art of Kevin Weeks

Biography

Kevin was born in Melbourne, Victoria in 1952 and resides in Berwick.

At the age of 44 years, he initially took up acrylic painting to capture well known geographical landscapes within Australia. He has since travelled extensively overseas and remains highly impressed with capturing the varied colored and formed landscapes as well as urban scenes.

Kevin is an active member of the Berwick Artists Society where he has achieved several annual awards covering Best Artist for Realist Art, as well as Non Realist Art.

His profile in art has been featured in 'Antiques and Art in Victoria' and ‘Australian Artist’ publications. Kevin's unique style has been deemed by art circles as challenging the conservative and traditional techniques of impressionist painting.
